Villas del Caribe features an open-air restaurant facing the sea, where guests may savour Caribbean dishes whilst relaxing to the sound of the waves breaking on the shore and enjoying the soothing sea breeze. There is a small souvenir shop at the lobby and front desk area. There is a swimming pool and Jacuzzi available also. Because the hotel is a beachfront property, guests will have to make a tough choice between the long, deserted golden sand beach to the left and the numerous pristine golden sand beaches to the right.
The hotel features direct beach access, landscaped gardens, wheelchair access to common/public areas, and common area internet access (high speed & wireless).
Among the activities offered are walks to the hotel’s 100-acre private reserve, entertainments at the hotel such as ping-pong, and various tours operating within the area. These tours include visits to indigenous reserves, the Gandoca-Manzanillo Reserve, and Cahuita National Park. Horseback riding, snorkeling, fishing, bicycle rentals, and surf board rentals are available as well.

The Certification for Sustainable Tourism Program – CST – is a product of the Costa Rican Tourism Board and it is regulated by the Costa Rican National Accreditation Commission. The certification is based on an accreditation of a scale of 5 “levels” of sustainable tourism achievement.
CST gives you reliable information regarding companies that make efforts to improve their management and operations to offer a sustainable product. It is also a good tool to differentiate those companies that are truly engaged with sustainable practices, from others that claim to be sustainable but are inconsistent in their actions.

These measures are meant to be used as a reference only and they are calculated on double occupancy, standard room, quoted in U.S. Dollars and include a 13% sales tax; on both high and low seasons.
