There are two types of visitors. Both are fine… no better or worse… They are simply different: One of them simply wants a vacation: Get away, relax, unplug… Rest! The other one is a traveler, it is willing to get to the unexplored, walk through unknown cities, try an unspoken language and taste something totally different.
Again, there is no better or worse… They are simply different.
And in Camino Travel we know who’s who… In Costa Rica you find different destinations for each of them. There are some destinations that have become a must in Costa Rica: Arenal, Monteverde, Manuel Antonio, Tamarindo. These are destinations where you play it safe. The hotels are the best, the tours are proven and punctual. Everything runs like clockwork. No mysteries, no wondering… Everything is under control.
You want some relaxing, easy going time only… Play it safe. Vacation time is way too precious to loose it in adventures that will lead to tiredness and lost time. Nothing worst than loosing a vacation day in waiting for a transfer that came late… Let us pamper you with the best! You deserve it! You’ve worked a whole year to get to these unplugged easy days.
However, if you want to see Costa Rica… travel through it, get to the marrow of it… There are plenty of paths that are unbeaten. There are several little towns, amazing waterfalls and fantastic forests that are unknown and unseen… Those that do not appear in Trip Advisor or Expedia… There are big amazing rainforests that are simply out of the way of the big destinations, not seen, not visited, not reviewed… pristine and beautiful.
There are locations where you see dozens of scarlet macaws flying over your head, where big dolphins schools play around the boats, rivers with white lime and quartz stones surrounded by deep green forests, coasts where bio-luminescence is as a common thing for the locals… If you don’t care about all inclusive resorts and cocktails served by the pool… Ask us about these! There are so many and so beautiful! Ask us about Golfo Dulce, Cocles, Boca Tapada, Caño Negro, Turrialba or Chirripó… Don’t hesitate and ask! Remember we know Costa Rica like we know our hearts…. From the inside. If you are a wanderer… Go for the locals. Don’t risk your vacation time… Ask! And we will have a bunch of answers!
And then… there is the combination of both… If you have the time, you can spend the first days wandering, discovering, getting to the real Costa Rica. And then at the end, take the luxury of a nice beach hotel where they will pamper and spoil you to the minimum detail… How does that sound?
