International Day of Tolerance

We may think is a paradox that today the World celebrates the International Day of Tolerance. But no. As a most amazing coincidence in our hearts and lives, each human in this world should be celebrating tolerance as a way of life and acceptance and respect as a lifestyle!

According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, tolerance is defined as willingness to accept feelings, habits, or beliefs that are different from your own. And even if we may think that this human celebration today is a paradox, looking at the events in Lebanon and France in the past weekend, but, it is actually far from a paradox, as humans from all over the World have shown solidarity in all possible ways to the people affected by the violence. The World was shaken and it has reacted.  We do believe in humanity learning, growing and getting better. We do believe in education, in information and definitely in traveling!

As much as we, in Camino Travel and Premio DMC, feel privileged to be part of the travel world, for travel creates tolerance and its bigger sister, acceptance. Tolerance and Acceptance start when you accept to learn, sleep, eat and get involved in another person’s culture, history and roots. The change in the state of mind is unbelievable and anyone who has been visiting another culture knows it. The mind opens and the heart embraces. We are all humans, after all.

Do not let the fear blind you! Earth is still worth to be known… as much as possible! And tolerance within, in each person, is the way to Peace on Earth.

We are all different worlds: we are all a country, a race, a gender, a preference and a bunch of different beliefs as individuals as much as humans. Let tolerance and acceptance fill your mind and your heart for world’s peace as much as yours!

Travel on!
