This is an itinerary made for families and nature lovers (also appropriate for kids and teens).

Day 1: Arrival at San Jose’s Juan Santamaría International Airport. After passing through Immigration you will be met by a representative of our company who will give you an introductory briefing about Costa Rica and review the itinerary. You will receive a Welcome Kit including documentation on Costa Rica, a map, and recommendations on what to bring and wear to the excursions. Following you will travel to your first destination hotel.
Day 2: You will meet a representative of Interbus who will provide the Transfer from San Jose to Arenal. Approximately driving time: 3 hours.Distance: 151 Km (94 Miles)
Day 3: You will have one full day in Arenal with the following activities, like La Fortuna Waterfall Guided Hike & Arenal Volcano National Park Guided Walk
Day 4: Today, you will be transferred from Arenal to Monteverde in a car – boat – car logistic across Arenal Lake.
Day 5: Today, you will be transferred from Arenal to Monteverde in a car – boat – car logistic across Arenal Lake.
Day 6: Today you will meet a representative of Interbus who will provide the Transfer from Monteverde to Manuel Antonio. Approximately driving time: 3 hours, 40 minutes. Distance: 198 Km (123 Miles)
Day 7: You will be picked up at your hotel by your tour operator and transferred to Manuel Antonio National Park. Due to its great variety of flora and fauna, this national park is one of the most famous in the country.
Day 8: You will have one full day in Manuel Antonio at leisure. Explore the area, take optional activities at extra cost or just relax at your hotel and the beaches nearby.
Day 9: You will meet a representative of Camino Travel, who will provide the Transfer from Manuel Antonio to San José International Airport. Approximately driving time: 2 hours, 45 minutes. Distance: 170 Km (106 Miles). Arrive at least 3 hours prior your flight back home schedule.
Day 1: San José
Welcome and arrival transfer to your San José Hotel.
During the transfer time to the hotel, the guide will hand over a Welcome Kit and a brief on the planned activities and on some general aspects of the country.

Travel to the Arenal Volcano area,
Evening at leisure to enjoy the pool and the hotel facilities.

La Fortuna waterfall guided hike and Arenal Volcano National Park walk.
Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities or explore the surroundings.
Day 4: Monteverde (B)
Travel to Monteverde by boat (Through the lake) and car. Afternoon at leisure and evening rainforest tour.

Morning tour Sky Walk tour, Sky Tram and Sky Trek (zip lining)
Day 6: Manuel Antonio
Day at Manuel Antonio National Park Optional tours such as surfing lessons, snorkelling and guided walks are suggested.

Day 7: Manuel Antonio
Picked up at your hotel to enjoy some more of Manuel Antonio, explore the area, take optional activities at extra cost or just relax at the hotel

You will meet a representative of Camino Travel, who will provide the transfer back to San José (driving time 2 hours and 45 minutes) arrive at least 3 hours prior your flight back home schedule.

*Private Transfers Alternative: A private driver will pick up the clients directly at the hotel and will take them to the next destination. The schedules can be flexible (unless they have to connect with other transfers or be in a certain place at a specific moment) and they do not have to wait for other clients, since this is a private service.
**Rental Car Alternative: Renting a car is a convenient way to move around the country as it gives you the freedom to explore at will. Our preferred car rental companies offer a complete list of services, including a modern fleet of vehicles and pick-up and drop-off services in San José as well as in the main tourist destinations. We would recommend a 4WD whenever possible and depending on the places you wish to visit, as they are more robust vehicles and a more reliable option for difficult roads. The rate provided does not include the Mandatory Insurance (USD 19.00 per day of rent). Clients will pick up the vehicle a SUV Intermediate on Day 05 and return it on Day 11.
