Caño Island Snorkeling
Caño Island Biological Reserve is one of the best snorkeling spots in the whole of Costa Rica. This full-day tour departs early in the morning, when you will be transferred to the town of Sierpe. Here you will board a boat and travel down the Sierpe River, where you will be able to appreciate one of the largest mangroves in Central America. After reaching the river mouth, you will head toward Caño Island, where your snorkeling adventure will take place.
The protected waters of the reserve are known for their profusion of marine life and underwater topography. Afterwards, you will enjoy a picnic lunch on the island’s beach and either do some more snorkeling or enjoy some time on the island.
