Behind the stage… (The things our passengers don’t know we do): Operations department check outs!
When you see a real professional actor on stage… the person who is the actor dissapears. You only see the character… Well! When you hire a real proffesional travel agency to handle your vacation… The travel agency dissapears, and the vacation shines! Every thing goes smoothly… You don’t even notice things, punctual drivers, hotel rooms are there, the tour guides know what they are talking about, you know the informatin you need when you need it… Every thing runs smoothly… But that, my friends, is NOT a happy coincidence.
That is the efficiency of a team behind the stage.
A whole team. Sales, operations, reservations, financial department, etc… All togehter like an orchestra play your vacation in synchronicity for you to have the time of your life!
I am not going to touch every single thing we do for that to happen perfectly, but get into it, part by part in a series of articles.
Today I am going to get into: Check outs.
Every time a service is going to happen our three operations musketeers (They are three guys… actually) have to check everything the day before…
Tomorrow you are moving from one hotel to another, our team is calling that hotel to check that the reservation is still there and everything is cool… Why do we do that?
Well! Whenever you have traveled you know sometimes it happens that the hotels get overbooked, for instance… and then you get there and they tell you: “We are sorry… you will be in that other hotel instead of this, that is full”… or! They lost the reservation you made three months ago! And you don’t have a room!
Well! We know about those situations (If they happen!) a day prior and then it gives us time to react, without you even knowing about it… ever!
Same with transportation… and tours and everything!
This is what happens behind the stage, that very few people know about and that makes a difference when traveling with Camino!
