Day 1:
You’ll depart San José for the 3 hour drive to San Isidro del General, located on the South Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Depending on the time of your departure, you may spend the afternoon/evening at your leisure, walking around Dominical town and getting to know the local amenities or enjoying your hotel facilities.
Day 2:
You’ll go on a snorkeling tour at Marino Ballena National Park. This reserve was created in February 1990 to protect the shoreline of Bahía de Coronado (including Punta Uvita), several beaches, plus 4,500 hectares of ocean surrounding Isla Ballena. Underneath the park’s waters, you’ll be able to witness the great biodiversity of the region and observe all kinds of marine wildlife. Afterwards, you can spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing by the pool, sunbathing, swimming or taking part in optional tours such as horseback riding, natural history walks, canopy tours, etc (all at additional cost).
Day 3:
Depending on what you wish to do next on your itinerary, you can depart back to San José or continue your journey to another selected destination after breakfast.

Uvita area
These two, Dominical and Punta Uvita, are ideal destinations to discover the beautiful South Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Dominical is a friendly beach-front town in the South Pacific Coast of the country that offers many recreation activities to its visitors. Alternatively, Uvita is the main gateway for exploring Marino Ballena National Park, a coral reef sanctuary and key whale-watching site (July through October).
