TOURS FROM SARAPIQUÍ
Rappel (descending on ropes)
This tour is ideal for the most adventurous. You will descend with safety ropes and equipment a 90 feet wall on the Sarapiquí river canyon with a spectacular view of the confluence of the Sarapiquí and Pozo Azul Rivers. First of all you will receive a lesson with basics and safety instructions. Every rappel is assisted by two guides, one managing the line and the second one belaying the main line to assure 100% safety. You will be able to repeat the rappel up to three times.
What to bring: Long pants, secure shoes, sun lotion, repellent and camera.
Includes: Transportation (Puerto Viejo hotels), guide, equipment, water, and fruit snack.
Approximate tour time: 2 hours
Approximate pick up time: 9:30 am, 11:30 am, 2:30 pm
Minimum pax: 2
Restrictions (weight, age height): Recommended for children over 12 years old. The tour is not operated in raining.
