Horseback Riding
On this tour you will ride through some of the internal trails and solitary back roads of the Hacienda Pozo Azul. The expert guides will provide you with the ideal route and length of ride for you. First of all you will receive the instructions on how to safely ride a horse and you will be given your equipment which includes: Helmet, leggings if you are wearing shorts to protect your legs, and rain ponchos. Then you will start the journey where you will combine pasture, jungle and rivers. Cold fresh fruits and water are provided in a privileged spot. A trained guide with radio communication and at least one wrangler will accompany you on the ride.
What to bring: Long pants, tennis shoes or boots, sun block lotion, insect repellent, raincoat and camera.
Includes: Transportation (Puerto Viejo hotels), guide, horse, equipment, including leggings if wearing shorts, water, and fruit snack.
Approximate tour time: 2 or 4 hours
Approximate pick up time: 9:30 am, 11:30 am, 2:30 pm
Minimum pax: 2
Restrictions (weight, age height): Recommended for children over 6 years old
