Sky Tram & Sky Trek
SKY TREK is a secure system of trails and zip lines, in the Monteverde Cloud Forest that offers visitors the opportunity to observe and appreciate the nature from different vantage points. It is similar to other canopy tours in Costa Rica, but incorporates some significant differences, such as being of larger scale, metal platforms covered with mesh-covered and steel rails which prevent falling or sliding.
The tour starts with Sky Tram until you reach the Continental Division one of the Monteverde’s highest mountains. You will ride 800 meters from the starting point until you arrive to the observation platform. Then you will start the adventure, full of adrenalin over the top of the wonderful trees.
What to bring: Jacket, walking shoes, long hair in a pony tail, NO BACKPACKS during the tour
Includes: transportation, bilingual guide and equipment
Approximate tour time: 2 1/2 hours
Approximate pick up time: 7:30 am, 9.30 am,
11:30 am, 1:30 pm, 2:00 pm
Minimum pax: 2
Restrictions (weight, age height): Not recommended for people afraid of heights.
