Bocas del Toro - Tour of one day
“Bocas del Toro Islands” are located right across the Costa Rican border in the Caribbean zone of Panama. This area is known for its great cultural and biological diversity, for the many islands and inlets found there and for the great expanse of coral reef that surrounds them. It is one of the few places in the world where you can snorkel almost every day of the year.
You will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to Sixaola (Costa Rican border) where you will have to do the migration process and also at Guabito (Panamanian border). After that you will continue to “Finca 60” or “Puerto Almirante” (depending on the weather conditions) to board a fast boat to Colon’s Island. Once there, you will board another boat that will take you through the other nearby islands like: Bastimento and Zapatilla National Park. The guide will show you the best spots to practice Snorkeling.
You will eat a delicious Caribbean lunch, in Coral Key’s restaurant. The restaurant is built in the water so you can also practice snorkeling there.
Finally you will return to Costa Rica. The drop-off at the hotel is at 6:00 p.m. approximately.
What to bring: hat, sun block, insect repellent, sneakers or sandals, bathing suit, towel, extra cloth, sun glasses, camera and passport.
