Day 1:
Leave San José for the 5-hour ground transfer to Tamarindo
on the North Pacific coast.
Day 2:
Today you will take the Tamarindo Mangrove & estuary tour.
The boat trip into the estuary offers the opportunity to observe
rare and abundant wildlife while learning about the unique
ecosystem in the mangrove forest. Afternoon at leisure in
Tamarindo to relax by the pool, sunbathe, swim or sign on
for optional tours such as horseback riding, turtle tours
(available from October to March), natural history, snorkeling
and diving, canopy tours, and sport fishing.
Day 3:
Transfer back to San José.
Rates per person
based on double occupancy:
- From December 16, 2007 to April 30, 2008: $248 (without tour $192)
- From May 01, 2008 to December 15, 2008: $226 (without $170)

Tamarindo Beach area
In Guanacaste the sun
rules. Cool winds from northern latitudes lower temperatures
pleasantly along the coast from December to April. From May
through November the warm and sunny weather prevails, although
occasional showers may accompany it, usually in the afternoon.
Tamarindo beach is part of this privileged area. It stretches
for a couple of kilometers over a series of rocky headlands.
Tamarindo boast an impressive selection of restaurants, wide-ranging
accommodation, a lively beach culture, and good nightlife.
