Flamingo area
The surroundings of the
Rincón de la Vieja National Park, in the North of the Guanacaste
Province, are one of the most particular in the country. Combining
tropical dry forest with enchanting waterfalls, the area is
characterized by bubbling mud pots, steaming vents in the
earth, hot springs, and a whole host of wildlife. Still relatively
undiscovered, the region is starting to attract more visitors.
