FLORA & FAUNA TOURS
INBIO Parque
Located in Santo Domingo de Heredia, INBIOPark is a non-governmental educational and recreational center, that promotes better understanding of the value of biodiversity in order to conserve it and improve the quality of life. The park informs visitors about the natural history of our country by way of interactive exhibit halls and interpreted trails. Visitors will be exposed to samples of the vast world of biological diversity that can be found in Costa Rica and its National Parks.
The INBIOpark experience consists of a visit through its various areas:
Projection room (15 minute audio-visual)
Biodiversity Hall (30 min) Costa Rica-SINAC Hall: geological history of the earth and formation of Central American landmass, with a focus on the tropics (30 min)Trails: interpreted trails through areas where grouped vegetation is found in three major habitats of the country: Bromelias Trail (400m, 30 min), Guarumo Trail (600m, 45 min), Guayacan Real Trail (400m, 30 min), Cultivated Plants and Insects (an area with fruit trees, vegetables, ornamental & medicinal plants)
