This fine and exclusive beachfront Boutique hotel is located in Tamarindo, in a quiet section of this North-Pacific beach, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The hotel can be reached by ground transportation (a 5-hour drive, 171 miles/274 km from San José), or by a 50-minute domestic flight. Capitán Suizo has a total of 7 Bungalows, 22 rooms with a/c or fan, one Honeymoon Suite and a 5-room apartment, all with private bathroom and hot water, air conditioning or ceiling fans, mini-bar, telephone, am/fm radio, safety deposit box, small refrigerator, and lush gardens.

The bungalows have thatched roofs, and are separate from the hotel's main building. They are furnished with one queen size bed and one futon sofa bed, large bathrooms/showers, and ceiling fan. The 22 rooms have either a terrace or a balcony. All rooms have one queen size futon bed, along with either one queen size bed, or two single beds. The 11 rooms on the first floor have a/c, whereas those on the second floor have a fan (a/c is not absolutely necessary). The apartment is located on the main building's second floor. It has four bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with a whirlpool), kitchen, large living room (with 5 ceiling fans), and a spacious balcony. Other facilities include a bar, restaurant, and swimming pool. The Hotel El Milagro is located on the main street of Tamarindo Beach in Guanacaste on the country's North Pacific Coast. There are two ways of traveling to Tamarindo: flying from San Jose or traveling by car (4 hours, 300 Km/186 Km). The flight lasts approximately 50 minutes, and planes depart regularly every day to and from San Jose/Tamarindo.

The hotel has 32 rooms, all with a private bathroom, hot water, and either a ceiling fan or air conditioning. Some rooms have Cable TV and a safety deposit box. This hotel is located in Tamarindo, on the North-Pacific Coast of the country, about a 5-hour drive from San José on paved roads (274 km/171 miles). Casa Caletas Boutique Hotel is an exclusive resort located in Nicoya Peninsula's Playa Coyote. Built in early 2004, it is a peaceful place to relax on an isolated beach. Driving from the San Jose International Airport to Puntarenas takes approximately 2 hours. In Puntarenas visitors board the car ferry to Playa Naranjo for a 1-hour ride across the Gulf of Nicoya. Tango Mar is a 150 acre (60 Hectare) private reserve located in Playa Quisalez on the Nicoya Peninsula, about 190 km from San Jose. It is about a 4-5 hour trip from San José. If you are traveling by your own means, you must first go towards Puntarenas (about 1:30-2 hour drive), where you will take a 1 hour 20 minute boat ride on the Paquera Ferry boat across the Gulf of Nicoya. The hotel is a 45-minute drive (45 Km /28 miles) from Paquera.

This hotel has a total of 35 rooms and 4 deluxe villas: 18 Oceanfront rooms, 12 Tropical Suites, 5 Tiki Suites, 1 Presidential Villa (with four rooms), 1 Royal Villa (with five rooms), and 2 beachfront Villas: Robinson Crusoe Villa with 2 rooms and the Mono Congo Villa with 2 rooms and its own outside, oceanfront Jacuzzi. El Sano Banano Beach Hotel and Ylang-Ylang Beach Resort are one and the same. Both hotels are under the same ownership and management. While El Sano Banano is in downtown Montezuma, the Ylang- Ylang is located on a lovely beach a 10 minute walk from the former, in the southwest of the Nicoya Peninsula and a four and a half hour drive from San Jose (about 185 km) -including a one hour and a half journey by ferry. The hotel is nestled among 20 acres of lush gardens and natural vegetation that span a quarter mile of beachfront.

Harmony hotel is located in Playa Guiones, Nosara, approximately 6 hours from San José and 2 ½ hours from Liberia. The journey from San Jose to this beach is about 248 km/154 miles and takes about 6 hours. Should you prefer a shorter trip, regular one hour flights are available to and from San Jose/Nosara. The hotel is set on a hill about 40 meters above sea level, offering wonderful views of the coastline of Ostional, the mountains, and the river mouth from Rio Nosara.

Hacienda Guachipelín Lodge is located at the foot of the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano, near the town of Curubande, in the province of Guanacaste about a 4.3 hours drive from San Jose and a 30 minute drive from Liberia. The Hacienda borders the popular Rincón de la Vieja National Park, comprising 1600 hectares, which are used for both the conservation of the tropical dry forest, and as land for pasture and the reforestation of endangered species.
