Tesoro Verde
Tesoro Verde Lodge is located near Corcovado National Park in Drake Bay, on Costa Rica’s south Pacific coast. This region of the country harbors a vast virgin tropical rainforest that boasts a high degree of diversity of both flora and fauna.
When you arrive at the lodge, you will take part in a hike to Agujitas Waterfall where your local guide will give you an introduction to Tesoro Verde and its conservation efforts. After spending the night, you will go on an outing to Corcovado National Park early the next day. This park is the jewel of Costa Rica’s national park system, consisting of 8 unique habitats ranging from swamps to mountain rainforests. More than 289 bird birds have been identified within this park, including the gorgeous and endangered scarlet macaw. You will hike along the park trails and make your way towards one of Corcovado’s waterfalls. Once more, you will spend the night at Tesoro Verde and explore its own beautiful reserve the next day by taking a hike through its nature trails.
