Los Campesinos

Los Campesinos Reserve, located on the basin of the Savegre River, is dedicated to preserving its natural surroundings as well as the traditional culture of Quebrada Arroyo Village, the hometown of its guardians.
When you arrive, you will be greeted with a delicious traditional snack and will receive an introduction to the village’s way of life, the Vainilleros Association and Los Campesinos Reserve. Afterwards, a professional local guide will lead you on a walk across Mirador El Pacifico Pathway (3500mts in length; the trek takes around 2 hours), pointing out all the flora and fauna you encounter, explaining the usage of native plants by the local inhabitants.
The next phase of the tour involves a ride on an aerial tram that travels through the gigantic trees of the region. You’ll get to enjoy magnificent panoramic views of the Savegre River and the Manuel Antonio coastline. After lunch, you will continue with a trek down the Poza de Olivo Pathway (600mts in length; the walk lasts around an hour), crossing a suspension bridge in the middle of the forest (127mts long and 40mts high). Your trek will lead you to Los Chorros Waterfall and Olivo Spring, where you will be able to enjoy a refreshing swim in crystalline natural pools.
