Cafetalera Tirrá

During this coffee tour, you will visit Cafetalera Tirrá, a coffee farm located in the mountains near Palmares. It is run by the Kloti (originally from Switzerland) and Aeberhard families, who are dedicated to the cultivating coffee in a socially and environmentally responsible way. You will be welcomed by members of both families and will be shown around as you learn how they grow, pick and process Costa Rica’s famous coffee beans. After a guided walk through the farm, you’ll get the chance to sit down and enjoy a freshly brewed cup of the delicious coffee produced right there at Tirrá.
