Banana Adventure Tours

Camino Travel’s special “banana tour” is the perfect way to obtain a realistic perspective when it comes to the production process of bananas in Costa Rica. During this tour, you will visit a banana plantation and will learn all the details in regards to banana crop growing to harvesting and to packing. Your guide will walk you through the trails of the plantation, where you’ll get to observe actual demonstrations of the local agricultural practices. You’ll get to see actual workers are as they prop, bag, pack and harvest the bananas on the spot. Once the tour is over, you’ll get the chance to visit the plantation souvenir shop where you can browse through a selection of products made from banana plants. These include banana paper, banana dolls, coffee liquor, banana hangers and, of course, bananas themselves.
