Hacienda Experience

The hacienda experience aims to bring visitors back to Costa Rica's roots, which means introducing them to Costa Rica's rural cultural and economic practices. A Hacienda Experience tour begins with a visit to a coffee plantation where you will learn everything about the production process from harvesting the coffee cherry to brewing the bean. The tour continues with an introduction to the process of making sugar, as you will witness the production of sugarcane. The tour ends with a walk through the macadamia nut groves, where you will learn to appreciate this delicious and nutritious nut.
