Doka Estate
 Doka
Estate is located on the fertile slopes of Costa Rica's famous
Poas Volcano. It is a private family owned coffee estate producing
some of the country's finest Arabic coffee. At an altitude
of 4,500 ft above sea level the volcanic soil, crisp mountain
air and loads of sunshine combine to create the perfect conditions
for coffee growing. At Doka they mill all their coffee in
their antique and traditional coffee beneficio. The milled
coffee is then dried on patios with the traditional methods
that have been passed down through generations of coffee growers.
The coffee roasting facility located in the mill gives you
the chance to see first hand the entire process from seedlings
to trees, fruit to roasted coffee and finally the opportunity
to taste a perfectly balanced cup of coffee, brewed from beans
grown in such an ideal and unique location.
