TICO EXPERIENCE
 Although you may be familiar with the term "Tico" (as Costa Rican's like to be called), you won't truly understand the full significance of the term until you get the "Tico experience." These activities take you back to Costa Rica's roots to see how the history has shaped the society and people today. The Tico experience includes all of the major elements that Costa Rica has to offer; history, coffee plantations, nature, and haciendas; all representing the rich diversity that has shaped this wonderful country. Although the word Tico may come from a diminutive root, you will learn that there is nothing small about what it represents.
