Museum of Indigenous Cultures (Sarapiquís Neotropical Center)

This Lodge/ Museum is modelled after a 15th century pre- Columbian village to present visitors with an overview of indigenous culture and history as well as an introduction to natural history before entering the Tirimbina reserve or La Selva biological station.  The site includes an authentic banana plantation with explanations about the banana production process, and an archaeological site.
