Costa Rican Art Museum

Created in 1977, the Costa Rica Art Museum can be found in La Sabana Park in San José. Its location was meant to encourage and uphold art and literature in the country, making it easily accessible to the public. Almost all the art samples in the museum are by Costa Rican artists. Nonetheless, the museum also houses several exhibitions throughout the year from other parts of the world. This is a great cultural visit for those who are interested and are staying in San José and its surroundings.
