FISHING IN COSTA RICA
Costa Rica’s water’s, teaming with fish species such as Marlin, and sailfish, makes it one of the best places in the world for deep-sea fishing. Full day and half-day trips, both in-shore and offshore are available all year-round. A variety of boats are available, from 26 foot to 33 foot vehicles. The sport fishing tours include tackle, reels, and fighting chair within the boat. Water, soft drinks, beer and fruits are also included, and all travelers are accompanied by a captain and mate. On the Pacific coast one of the best places for fishing is the Osa Peninsula and the area around Golfito. There are also great fishing spots in Guanacaste such as Playa Ocotal. The Atlantic Coast also offers great opportunities for fishing between November and December.
NORTH PACIFIC: Boats are usually equipped with the best fishing tackle. Half-day or full-day trips can be arranged upon request. Boat sizes vary from 27 feet to more than 30 feet. Normally, all sport-fishing packages include soft drinks, water, fruits and/or snacks. We do not operate these tours but we can include a tour in your itinerary.

SOUTH PACIFIC: Half and full-day trips are organized both within the Drake Bay area lodges (Western Corcovado), and the southern Puerto Jiménez lodging options (South-East Corcovado Nat. Park). Boats are fully equipped.. Enquire now for details and for offshore fishing options.
