Casa Corcovado was built with a harmonious design in mind. It allows the lodge to blend with the landscape and the environment in order to promote the enjoyment of the undisturbed natural beauty of Corcovado. The tranquil hilltop setting provides awe-inspiring views and both ocean and rainforest breezes. Bungalow accommodations are spaced throughout the lodge’s garden for maximum peace and privacy. The ‘Organic Design’ of the rooms combines the vibrant, earthy colours and textures of the jungle with contemporary sophistication.

  • It is surrounded by the Corcovado National Park, known for its intense biodiversity.
  • To get to the hotel you get in a plane for 45 mins then a bus then a speed boat and then a tractor up the hill.
  • Every room as a water cooler so you can always top up your water bottle.
  • Low wattage bulbs (they’re a five leaves eco lodge)

Restaurant, bar, swimming pool, conference room, laundry service, and lush gardens.

Casa Corcovado’s deluxe bungalows are tucked away in its own private garden. These rooms offer a queen size bed plus either two or three additional single beds, perfect for accommodating families or groups of friends.

You will enjoy in these bungalows the wood-beamed ceilings, shutters, and stained glass that are hand-crafted by Costa Rican artisans, and can relax in the sitting area while delighting in the symphony of the sounds of the rainforest.

The bathroom area has separate enclosures for the toilet and shower. The shower features glass and bamboo doors that face the gardens and bathe the flagstone floor and the natural colors of the tile in a warm light. The sink area is awash in a cool, ocean-like atmosphere emanating from a glass block wall in shades of blue and white, the idea is to create a soothing and relaxing feel of the water.

Outside, a strategically-placed hammock is simply the best vantage point for taking in the natural world all around, or maybe just the best place for enjoying a good book –perhaps with a glass of red wine from your Jungle Minibar.

The deluxe bungalows also offer ample closets, hot water, tiled floors and 24-hour electricity provided by a hydroelectric and solar system.

CST_inglesThe Certification for Sustainable Tourism Program – CST – is a product of the Costa Rican Tourism Board and it is regulated by the Costa Rican National Accreditation Commission. The certification is based on an accreditation of a scale of 5 “levels” of sustainable tourism achievement.

CST gives you reliable information regarding companies that make efforts to improve their management and operations to offer a sustainable product. It is also a good tool to differentiate those companies that are truly engaged with sustainable practices, from others that claim to be sustainable but are inconsistent in their actions.

This hotel is in the process of implementing the CST
